Attened a conference, CUBIC 2004, held at IIT.
  • It was a bioenginnering conference and there were 3 major sections: 1) Tissue engineering, 2) Imaging, and 3) Rahab.
  • There 2 seminar sessions, each of which had 2 presentations. The first session covered issues in MRI. It was more or less introduction. One of the sencond session focused on artificial pancreas, which can be embedded into a human body and monitored by a kind of pager. The other in the second session was about protein mass spectrometry.
  • Among the posters, ours was the only one with an MEMS approach.
